Is atandt fiber in my neighborhood.

My neighborhood consists of about 400 homes. Many of the homes in the back part of the neighborhoods only have the 25mbit service. A neighborhood literally across the street has 1G internet on Fiber. Since you have AT&T Internet 50 Mbps available you are right in the middle of the AT&T Internet offering. You have FTTN which is Fiber to a local box in your neighborhood (VRAD). From there it is all copper with a max speed of 100 Mbps if close to the VRAD (serving terminal). The nearest known ATT Fiber customer is around 477 feet from my house.

The site still shows it is unavailable in my area and support cannot tell me any time frame of when it may be available. I was able to speak to an ATT representative who put in an inquiry to their engineering team about my address not being listed as fiber eligible, and they got back to me today saying that it was a mistake in their database that has now been corrected. I think my neighborhood is finally getting fiber lines and I’m pretty sure the company doing it is att although there are no flags or company numbers on who is doing construction, but I found a cable in one of the holes they dug that says “Corning Optical Cable” and “CAT, with some numbers or something “ or something like that.
